Is there a cheap way to get from Edinburgh airport to St Andrews?

The problem with st andrews is that there is no longer a train station. So you can either get the train to Leuchars and then a bus from there or get the x59 bus from St Andrew square. The bus is cheaper but takes longer than the train.
