Is there a charge to recycle waste plastic pesticide containers?

0

The PPCR program is free to all pesticide applicators. • What happens to the collected plastic? The containers are ground into chips in preparation to be remanufactured. Approved end-uses include new pesticide containers, pesticide pallets, speed bumps, parking lot bumpers, and fence posts. Many other end-uses are currently being explored. • Where can I find a list of PPCR Partners? To find the nearest PPCR recycling location, contact Don Gilbert at (717) 705-5858. You can also visit the Penn State PDA Program Page or contact your PA Department of Agriculture Regional Office or your county Penn State Cooperative Extension Office.
