Is there a charge to access archive articles?
If you are a subscriber to ejournal, articles up to 7 days old may be viewed or printed for free. If you are not a subscriber, there will be a nominal charge to view or print all articles. When either the time limit or the article limit expires, whichever comes first, you’ll be directed to the purchase page to add more articles. The time you purchase begins counting down when you do your first search. We, like most newspapers, now charge a fee for access to earlier articles. People may purchase one article or arrange to purchase access to a greater number of articles within a given time frame. Our charges, which are in line with the fees charged by other newspapers for similar services, help defray the considerable cost of building and maintaining the archive database.
