No, there is no charge for accessing and using Penn State Wireless. Anyone with an active Penn State Access Account, an 802.11 wireless capable laptop with VPN software, and within range of an access point, can use Penn State Wireless. The VPN software is not required if using the Wireless 2.0 “psu’ network. The service is provided by the department unit controlling the space.
