Is there a charge for paramedic service in Manhattan Beach?
Charges are incurred for medications and medical supplies, not the paramedic service provided by the Fire Department. These charges will appear on the hospital bill for emergency room services. The City charges for transportation in the Fire Department paramedic ambulance, but in many cases, a private ambulance is called for transportation service.
