Is there a charge for downloading from FilePlanet?
No. Downloading from FilePlanet’s Public Servers is completely free. However, FilePlanet actually provides two kinds of servers. Public Servers are free but frequently full, requiring you to wait in line before your download begins. For heavy downloaders, FilePlanet also offers a “Personal Server” subscription system as a choice to save time on downloads. Personal Server gives you the ability to download anything from FilePlanet with no waiting in download lines, no intrusive advertisements, and maximum speeds for your connection. Subscribers also get access some other perks, including access to special content (e.g. hot new game demos or trailer movies) in advance (anywhere from a week to a month) of non-subscribers.
