Not really. Just make sure you provide adequate hamster food and water. You should give more than usual because if the mother thinks there will not be enough food for her babies when they are older she may eat them! You could place small cut up pieces of fresh fruit for the hamster. Don’t give them large pieces of fruit because they may choke and not too much because it can give hamster diarrhoea. This is good for the mother to give her extra strength but isn’t necessary.
