Is there a certain amount of time involved in probating an estate?
• An Inventory must be filed within three months after the Letters of Authority are issued. • File Certificate of Notice of Probate of Will – This triggers the beginning of the three (3) month period in which the Will may be contested • Ohio and Federal Estate Tax Returns are due nine (9) months after the date of death. • Probate Court account due six (6) months after Letters of Authority issued.
