Is there a CE requirement called “Prevention of Medical Errors”?
Yes, the Florida Legislature passed a statute which requires that all health care licensees of the Florida Department of Health take a 2-hour course on the Prevention of Medical Errors upon initial licensure and every two years. This mandatory course for clinical lab personnel is included in the twenty-four hour total.
