Is there a career pathway in sign language ?

0

There are definitely careers in this field. When I studied music therapy, I took sign language (because it is often needed in music therapy for those who can hear but not speak). While there, I also found that those who were studying hearing and speech sciences needed sign language (speech therapists need to know sign language, of course), and special education students had to study sign language as well. There is a demand for all these careers, as well as interpretors/translators. Try talking to your guidance counselor or academic advisor and asking what sorts of careers you could use sign language for, as I am sure there are a lot more.

What is your question?
