Is there a breeder selling English Cream Golden Retriever Puppies?

0

Golden Retrievers should be any shade from cream to golden. Since fashion is now for the paler shades, you will find most show breeders have cream puppies, Goldens from working lines tend to be darker since they are bred for their working abilities not for colour. Check with you nearest breed club – listed at the bottom of this page: http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/108 Only buy from a breeder who hip scores, elbow grades and eye tests before breeding.

I would certainly avoid any breeder using the term “English Cream”. It’s a sign that they are NOT good breeders. It’s a Golden Retriever – period. Many Golden Retrievers in the UK come in a very pale shade. Look for a GOOD breeder who tends to produce pale Goldens, if that is what you want, but avoid anyone claiming to have “English Creams”.
