Is there a blood test to confirm periodontal disease bacteria?

0

I have periodontal disease and have what I think are rheumatoid arthritis pains in my shoulder and upper arm. This problem has persisted for the last 15 years and always dissapeared after thorough teath cleaning. This is the third time and teeth cleaning did not fix the arm pain. The pain is becoming debilitating and spreading. A blood test that confirmed periodontal bacteria would make me consider total tooth extraction a small price to be pain free.
