Is there a big difference between brand medications and generics?
Only in terms of price! Otherwise, generics are required to be a pharmaceutical equivalent of the brand product, identical in strength, dosage form and efficacy. Generics may look different from their brand counterparts. Additionally, a generic for a medication in one country may look different from a generic in another country for the same drug.
