I’m curious that your Chaos Black spray is flaking off. This really shouldn’t happen unless you’re seriously manhandling the models or tossing them all into a box together. Even then, plastic models with a Chaos Black undercoat should be able to withstand a fair amount of abuse without chipping or flaking. If you’re using plastic models, it’s possible you’ve got a batch that’s still got a coat of mould release agent, in which case a quick scrub under the tap or a dip in the washing up bowl should deal with it, although you should leave the sprues to dry naturally to ensure that all water is evaporated before painting. If you’ve got metal models then this shouldn’t be a problem (metal models are washed before packaging). So you might want to see if you’ve got a bad batch of paint and try another can. If the new paint is an improvement, take the old paint back and see if you can get a refund – GW stores are usually pretty good about this, as their spray paint is known for having an occas
