Is there a better way to display a user friendlier error message if K2 is not available using ASP?
IIS (Internet Information Server) displays generic error messages that can be found in the C:\WINNT\Help\iisHelp\common directory. To view what error templates are associated to what errors, open the “Internet Service Manager” and open the properties of your web site (i.e. Default Web Site) and go to the “Custom Errors” tab. If the K2Broker or K2Server is not available, this will generate “HTTP 500.100 – Internal Server Error – ASP error” which is associated with the C:\WINNT\Help\iisHelp\common\500-100.asp template.
