A. Now is the best time to file! IRS statute limits the time you have to file a tax amendment. You may be busy, but if you did over pay your taxes would getting a refund be worth the time? Consider it takes about 40 minutes to fill out the necessary forms. As an example in the 40 minutes it takes to fill out and mail our forms, a $4000 refund would earn you a $100 a minute! According to the IRS, there is currently over 5 billion dollars in overpaid taxes. If $4,000 or possible $10,000 of this money the IRS has were yours, wouldn’t you want it back? Remember it is your money!
