Firstly it might help if you told us what the fifth amendment was, we’re not all yanks you know. I’ll assume as you say you don’t want to incriminate your self that the fifth amendment is the right to silence. There is no specific right to silence in our (English) law, however that is once you have been arrested/. Obviously, you cannot be forced to answer questions and you can remain silent or say no comment, what you need to bear in mind is that you have to do this for the entirety of the interview, not pick and choose your q’s to answer. The police can pass on to the CPS; you unwillingness to co-operate, should you get taken to trial, and this can be told to the jury and ‘adverse inferences’ can be draw from this action. So if you come up with some masterful defence to what ever you are accused of which you could have mentioned when you were interviewed this would be pointed out to the jury, so in lay mans terms they would be told this could be deemed a bit dodgy, “how convenient Mr

The 5th amendment is an amendment to a written constitution. There is no written constitution in the UK. Unless arrested then there is no reason for you to answer Police questions. It may be possible though that you could be summonded to any court case to give evidence.
