Is their a renewal discount for customers who purchased the desktop version last year?
Yes. If you purchased the desktop version last year, you are eligible for a $10 discount if you order before August 12th, so your cost would be $89.95. Just choose ‘renewal’ pricing when ordering. The reason that it will cost more than the desktop version is that the software will be run on our computers, so we must invest heavily in hardware to make sure our servers do not get overloaded and your browsing of the web pages is as fast as possible. We would rather be pro-active instead of re-active, so we purchased more hardware than we anticipate needing. We also invest heavily in customer support, so you will receive answers to all of your email’s within 24 hours. We usually answer all email’s with two hours. If you use the desktop version to manage your leagues, and can’t get the league members to chip in roughly $3 a piece to move up to the web version and all it’s extra features, your best bet is to stay with the desktop version in order to keep costs down.
