EDIT a thumbs down without an explanation was it something i said I am an old man who served for 38 years in the Air Force and the British legion would be in the same situation as the Returned Serviceman’s League in Australia you can only be a full member if you have served overseas we had a GM on membership and lots of people like me said once you have done 1 Full time Engagement in any military service you should be Eligible for full membership and the Question of Reserves came up easy on receipt of Long Service medal 15 years Remember Reservists in Australia are only part time a serviceman who has served 6 years can become an Associated Menber these silly old men who will not change with the Times deserve to loose their Organisations and Clubs I believe the Object is to Remember the fallen and help those and there families that have served If the world ever grows up all we will have is serving members no wars and no fallen in battle someone complained about the Priory being sold i b
