Is the ZeroShells Captive Portal able to authenticate the clients by using X.509 certificates?
Starting with the release 1.0.beta6, if the user press the button X.509 that appears in the web login page and in the web browser there is a valid private key with the related X.509 certificate signed by a Trusted Certification Authority, the user is able to access to the network without insert Username and Password. Using this authentication method you can use the Smart Card to access to the LAN.
