Is the YMCA new to the Barberton community?

The Barberton YMCA was founded in 1924. Many people remember day camp, youth football and other programs offered in the community. The most recent home for the YMCA was the bank building at the corner of 3rd St. and Tuscarawas Avenue. Children of Barberton have also participated in programs at Camp Y-Noah for many years. Camp scholarships have been provided through the generosity of the Barberton Community Foundation.
