Is the Yamaha DGX530 a good digital piano?

I don’t own one of these but I’ve played it many many times in music stores…honestly, I would stay away from it. If you’re really going for just a great piano sound and feel, there are way better options out there. My two biggest complaints about this keyboard are: 1. The sound of the piano 2. The action The action is not really like a real piano, it’s softer and feels more “plasticy,” which is ok if you’re going to be playing with lots of different instrument patches and you’re not so focused on using it to play piano, but if you want to use it as something to learn piano on, I wouldn’t recommend it. As far as the sound goes, it has a nice “soft” sample, but the “hard” sample sounds very cheap to my ears. For example, when you play a nice jazzy chord very softly, it sounds pretty decent, but when you have to play harder, it sounds very “plasticy” (there’s that word again – different context though) and not convincing at all. If you’ve tried it now and you liked it, trust me, you won
