Raw 1’s answer makes no sense. The new models of the regular xbox (usually called premium or pro) have the exact same hardware as the elite including the HDMI output. The only differences are the size of the hard drive and the color. Unless you plan to download lots of movies and tv shows, the 20GB hard drive on the regular 260 should be plenty. Edit – Follow Up – The information from other posters about Elites having better hardware to reduce failure chances or do better with HDTV are outdated and wrong. The newer production runs of the regular use the Falcon processor and HDMI output, just like the Elite (heck, even the original versions of the Elite didnt’ have Falcon).
