Is the X-Scream ride at the top of the Las Vegas Stratosphere scarier at night or day?
For X-Scream, I’m not sure it matters as much. What probably matters the most is where you’re sitting. I’ve only done the Stratosphere rides once and I swear on my life I will never do it again. They are singlehandedly the scariest things I’ve ever done (not so much Big Shot). I did them at night and all I remember is fear. I’d have to think night is more extreme for X-Scream because you don’t really see as much as you linger out there over the edge of the building as it just toys with you by lurching forward giving you the impression that it’s gonna break on you. For Insanity, probably more extreme during the day as you’re flipped over and can only see the ground. I really don’t believe there’s much of a view anyway. As it is, the Stratosphere is at the north end of the strip and I could be wrong, but I believe X-Scream faces even further north. But anyway, if you just want a view, that’s what the entire tower is for.
