Is the WS-110 supported by Macintosh computers?
Because this recorder is a Mass Storage Class device, both Windows and Macintosh operating systems treat it as an external drive. Files can be transferred between the recorder and the computer using standard drag and drop or copy and paste techniques. No additional software is needed to transfer the files. Macintosh platforms do not natively support the WMA format. Therefore, to play WMA recordings on a Mac requires additional software. Telestream Inc.s Flip4Mac WMV Player, also known as Windows Media Components for QuickTime by Flip4Mac, enables WMA file playback in Apple Computer Inc.s QuickTime Player as well as QuickTime-compatible media players.
