Is the world run by ugly people for the benefit of the beautiful people?
In a way yes, because beautiful people can marry the ugly people who run the world more easily. If it was the other way around, the ugly people would have nothing else to do, since the beautiful people who run the world wouldn’t want to marry the ugly. Beauty allows others jobs and opportunities that don’t need so much intellect, so if you aren’t smart but you are beautiful, you can live life quite well.
