Is the Winter Solstice (shortest day/longest night) or the Summer Solstice(longest day/shortest night) your favorite?

I am definitely sensitive to the amount of light in each day’s cycle — I hate having to get up to go to work when its dark. I sleep more in the winter and am more active in the summer, by and large. Summer solstice to me means long, soft twilight, warm weather just about anywhere you are to celebrate the solstice, and the appearance at least of more time and therefore more opportunities to pursue. Summer sunsets always seem more colorful and longer than winter ones, too! About the only thing I like about the winter solstice is that it is the turning point and the days will finally start to lengthen!
