Is the White House Internship Program a full-time internship?

0

Yes. Applicants should expect to work at least Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Some exceptions will be made for applicants with class or program requirements, but interns must work 4.5 days a week in order to be considered full-time interns. For example, an intern may leave at 1:00 p.m. or later one day per week. If you cannot commit to a full-time internship because you are in a Washington-based academic program that requires more class time, the White House Internship Program is now offering internship opportunities with the Office of Presidential Correspondence. If you are interested in participating in this program, please make sure to identify yourself as a part-time applicant. Additionally, please make sure to choose the Office of Presidential Correspondence as your first and only choice when asked to list your top ten departments of interest.
