The Winters generally are less Baltic than the UK but it can rain in Winter … A LOT, and snow at higher altitudes! Average daytime temperature in Winter ranges from 12° to 16° along the coasts. The north coast is subject to the Balkan winds, while the South coast benefits from milder winds that come from Africa. Allow several degress cooler as soon as you go inland and up to the mountain villages that may be only a few minutes drive away.
