Is the water quality likely to change with the proposed dam?
Water quality will be improved as a result of better sediment transfer and river flow velocity, which will also be reflected by the reintroduction of fish, wood turtles and probably mussels into the upstream. The flow velocity has been increased a minimum of 10% by adjusting several components of the design per DNR directions.
