Is the war in Iraq because of Americas Zionist foreign policy?
1) Is the war in Iraq because of America’s Zionist foreign policy? At least partially. 2) Was it a mistake? I think the biggest mistake was that Bush went in too early. I wish that he had waited for the period of time offered by the French (I believe that it was an additional 2 months) and had the UN behind his action. I think the second biggest mistake was the *apparent* misinformation regarding the presence of weapons of mass destruction. Of course, we will probably never know if there really were such weapons or not – but I wish that they had been more certain of their information before taking action. Again: this jives with the primary mistake. On the other hand, this is probably a situation where the mistake will end up being of benefit to many generations to come. It may be that far more lives – in the long run – were saved as a consequence of the Iraqi war than were lost **in** that war. Only time will tell – probably lots and lots of time. Jim,
