Is the virtual surround-sound feature just as good as adding a home theatre for simply watching TV shows?
Virtual-surround is an audio effect that tries to create a larger soundstage but only requires two speakers. Some feel it’s an improvement over conventional stereo, but others judge it to be very disappointing. The effect can be turned on or off. It is not as good as a real surround-sound system. Even an inexpensive surround setup will sound better.
