Is the Urantia Book considered an “inspired” work?

Yes and no. The revelators state that as many human concepts as possible were used to present the information. This was done in an attempt to direct the information to our level of comprehension, which was no easy task for them. When all human concepts were exhausted, the revelators resorted to their own resources which are of superhuman origin. While some other religions claim exclusive ownership to truth for all time, the revelators explain that the information contained in the Urantia Book will one day need to be revised to correspond with the higher level of comprehension of future generations. This makes evident that revelation is an ongoing process which must occur anew when humanity progresses to higher levels of comprehension.
