Is the uptake of the injected product affected by the size of the tree?
A. No, it is not affected by the size of the tree as much as it is affected by environmental conditions and tree growth. Conditions favoring evapotranspiration, such as wind, sun and low relative humidity, also favor product uptake. Other important factors favoring product uptake are: trees in active growth, tree species, and the availability of water to tree roots. (See the training manual for specific conditions.
