The Foundation is an independent not-for-profit corporate entity governed by its own Board of Directors and is legally independent of the university. The UNT Foundation works closely with the UNT Alumni Association (http://untalumni.com) and the UNT Office of Development (http://www.unt.edu/development/) to form the Advancement Team at the University.
