Is the University of Phoenix an accredited university?
According to their website, the “university” has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association since 1978. The NCA is the accrediting organization for a large number of schools including all of the Big Ten and most of the Big Twelve schools. Some of the University of Phoenix’s programs have individual accreditations by trade-specific accrediting organizations.
