Is the university of Miami at florida hard to get into?
No it’s not hard BUT you need to have more than just grades and a good score to get in. You will need some $$$ if you attend because unless you are a genius with no money your financial aid package will be very small. My niece is in her senior year at UM and I think she only received about $10K or $12K per year or something. She has to maintain a B or better in her classes or she would loose the money. I know some of her high school classmates did not get accepted and their SAT scores were better (she took it twice) but she had AP classes throughout high school and belonged in various clubs. I think they accepted her because she was well rounded. She had a choice to attend another school with full tuition covered but went to UM instead. She loves it but she studies 24/7. Also UM offers lots of stuff to do and is located in a great area. Of course, they have a great sports program. Another option is FIU which is public. They have some good programs there too and it’s not as expensive.
