Is the University of Arizona an accredited Dietetics program?

0

• The University of Arizona’s Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) is fully approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE), the accrediting agency of the American Dietetic Association. • CADE can be reached at 216 W. Jackson Blvd, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606-6995 or education@eatright.org. • We will participate in a site review of our DPD program in 2006. If we successfully meet the criteria, we will earn accreditation status from CADE. • Upon completion of the BS degree in Dietetics, students are eligible to apply for supervised practice programs, or Dietetic Internships. • For more information, contact Jennifer Muir Bowers, PhD, RD, CNSD at jmbowers@ag.arizona.edu. Dr. Bowers is the NSC Department’s Undergraduate Program Coordinator.
