I would hope that the average voting American votes based on the political positions of the candidate and not by how many ads for said candidate he has seen. So, in my opinion, the money the candidate has makes no matter. Therefore, we are a representative democracy. This has nothing to do with religion. Again, if a Jew or a Muslim ran for President, he would win if the majority votes him in. There is nothing in the law that says he or she has to be a certain religion. And I highly doubt your claim that some states bar atheists. I want to see that.

It is really neither one. It is becoming more and more a secular humanist socialist ruled state. It has more big government, of which our founding fathers were afraid and they tried to install measures to prevent it. They worked for over 200 years and then came the democrat’s socialist spending programs that were designed to take the wealth of the rich and give it to the poor, making everyone equal, though it presently is the top 10% of the people paying over 50% of the taxes. People keep voting in the socialists because they have gotten to where they can get more from “Uncle Sugar” than they can by working and they are the 4th generation getting handouts so they don’t know any better. The government class is the ruling autocratic oligarchy, but they are a godless lot (Separation of church and state, which the founding fathers never intended except to keep the state out of the church. They didn’t want there to be a state church like the Church of England that was started by King Henry

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
