Is the U-Pass card I received from the Transportation Department all I need to ride the buses, shuttles, and the MetroLink?
No, you must also have your Washington University employee ID with you when using your U-Pass. When riding Metro buses, you will be required to swipe your U-Pass through the card reader upon boarding. On the MetroLink, you will be asked to show your valid U-Pass along with your Washington University employee ID. If you are unable to present both your U-Pass and your employee ID to Metro personnel or fare inspectors, you may be issued a citation and required to pay a court-imposed fine.
