This overall transition actually included two distinct reconfigurations that were accomplished simultaneously. First, we increased the size of our high school facilities to include 9th graders. This provides “room to learn” for all students. In addition, KSD adopted a more effective instructional model. Smaller learning communities allow students to receive increased attention to their personal learning needs.
