Is the train accessible to guests with special needs?
On vintage rail cars, accommodations for passengers with special needs are limited. During warm weather we have an open car operating out of Bryson City which has a hydraulic lift and handicap accessible restroom. Unfortunately, at times we are not able de-board guests at the one hour layover in the Nantahala Gorge, as the terrain is not wheel chair accessible.
