This protects all payments made for the total value of the package (not just the flight) in the event of the liquidation of your Tour Operator or the scheduled airline. If an ATOL tour operator or scheduled airline stops trading, the Civil Aviation Authority will refund your money. If you are abroad, the CAA will bring your group home as planned.
