Is the Tano Road Association a home owner association (HOA)?
No. The Tano Road Association is a voluntary neighborhood association made up of individual property owners in the Tano Road area who choose to join. Therefore dues are voluntary, member services are voluntary. All residents [members & nonmembers] in our immediate area benefit from our all volunteer efforts like the Security Patrol, our semiannual Trash Bash, our working with the county road department, our keeping tabs on nearby developments, our communications network of meetings, mailings, e-mailings, and newsletters.
