Is the SymptomPakTM safe for high blood pressure?
If you have high blood pressure you should consult your doctor before using certain over-the-counter medications. The American Heart Association has discouraged the use of over-the-counter nasal decongestants such as pseudoephedrine and phenylephrine for patients with high blood pressure. The SymptomPakTM contains one bottle of phenylephrine. The other four medications in the SymptomPakTM are considered to be safe for patients with high blood pressure.
