As these would mannifest early, and usually in the first 2-weeks, the cover is typically for the first 3-months for peace of mind (check specific details at each hospital please). Breast problems that are unrelated to the surgery can occur subsequently in any patient (whether you have surgery or not) and are of course not covered.
