Is the Supporters Trust connected to any other organisation?
The Supporters Trust is a member of Supporters Direct. Supporters Direct was launched in September 2000, as a result of findings of the Football Task Force, established by the Government in 1997. The following is taken from the Supporters Direct website: “Supporters Direct is a government initiative, funded by public money, with offices in London and Glasgow. Our aim is to help people “who wish to play a responsible part in the life of the football club they support” and we offer support, advice and information to groups of football supporters.
