Those are two diferent statues. The statue of liberty stands in New York and the colossus of Rhodes used to stand on Rhodes. Rhodes referes to the Greek Island and not Rhode Island in New York. It was destroyed but it stood 30 meters high and was one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. The liberty lady is a female and the colosus was a male.
