Is the Specs Howard School of Media Arts the same place as Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts?
Yes. We just changed our name to reflect the changes we’ve been making at the school. As you know, nothing about watching TV or listening to the radio is quite the same as it was even five years ago. “Broadcast” has become a somewhat antiquated term. Plus we’ve added graphic design and digital media arts to our offerings, so it made sense to swap out “broadcast” with the word “media.” How do I apply? To begin the application process, call 866-61-SPECS to schedule an appointment or jumpstart the process by filling out the Apply Online Form and an admissions representative will contact you. What are your entrance requirements? You will need a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. High school seniors may enroll pending graduation if all other admission requirements have been met. You will also need to pass an entrance evaluation that is given here at the school. There is no fee to take the evaluation. How long are your programs?
