No, the source code for OneStepCheckout is not encoded/encrypted in any way, which means you can read the source, make customizations to it and do whatever you want. We think encoders like Ioncube and Zend Guard are cumbersome for our customers and want them to have the possibility to change OneStepCheckout if they want to.
